Parallels (2017-ongoing)
Parallels is an ongoing photography project that consists of a series of multi-exposed rolls of colour reversal film. Each roll has been exposed two times, in two places (both in Hungary and Norway). The result is a series of multi-layered images – a visual comment on globalisation, migration and mobility. The film rolls contain overlapping, intertwined layers, where single photographs are blended together into a continuous stream of images. The scenes, events and subjects on the photos are no longer separable. Parallels is a reflection on the clash <-> convergence of different ideologies and cultures that people – especially those of us who live away from our homeland – experience every day.
